Kaustubh Gold & Minerals Limited applies a rigorous Know Your Customer (KYC) policy to all business relationships. No commercial engagement, transaction, or service will be initiated or continued unless the counterparty has successfully completed our KYC process.
1. KYC Requirements — Corporate Counterparties
- Certificate of incorporation and current certificate of good standing
- Memorandum and articles of association or equivalent constitutional documents
- Full list of directors with certified identification documents
- Beneficial ownership register — all UBOs holding 10% or more
- Certified copies of government-issued ID for all UBOs and authorised signatories
- Proof of registered address and principal place of business
- Audited financial statements for the most recent two years (where available)
- Relevant business licences, permits, and regulatory authorisations
- Source of funds and source of wealth declaration
- Bank reference letter from an approved financial institution
2. KYC Requirements — Individual Counterparties
- Government-issued photographic identification (passport preferred)
- Proof of residential address not older than three months
- Source of funds and source of wealth documentation
- PEP self-declaration and supporting documentation where applicable
3. Enhanced Due Diligence Triggers
- The counterparty is a politically exposed person (PEP) or close associate
- The transaction involves a high-risk jurisdiction as defined by FATF
- The transaction value or structure is atypical for the stated business
- Adverse media screening returns material negative findings
- Ownership structure is unusually complex without apparent commercial rationale
4. Ongoing Monitoring
KYC information is reviewed periodically. High-risk relationships are reviewed annually; standard-risk relationships every three years. Any material change in a counterparty's circumstances triggers an immediate review.
5. Right to Decline
KGML reserves the absolute right to decline or terminate any business relationship where KYC requirements cannot be satisfactorily met. We are not obliged to provide reasons for such decisions.
